“ It was a fabulous quaint diner. Known for their omelettes, they did not disappoint. I ordered the spinach goat cheese, mushroom. The thick cut bacon was as described. It was thick and cooked to perfection. ”
“ Fun and friendly diner in Hartville and definitely a place frequented by the locals yet very much worth a visit from out of towners. We had the biscuits and gravy, eggs, and chicken and waffles, all very good. Hats off for having French toast made out of a cinnamon roll. ”
“ Wife and I went here for lunch with our 3 kids and both of my parents. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They got a table big enough for all of us ready in just a couple of minutes. The food was delicious. We got a mix of breakfast food and lunch food. Everyone loved their meals. Highly recommend especially if you like breakfast/brunch food. ”
“ Diners like this are the best! Cozy and inviting atmosphere. Some of the best french toast I’ve had. Highly recommend ”
“ If you find yourself in Hartsville, do yourself a favor and stop by Meet Me at Irene’s. This cozy spot delivers exactly what you’d hope for in a local diner—great food, fast and friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere that clearly has earned it a loyal local following. I stopped in for lunch and had the gyro and fries, which were absolutely outstanding—perfectly seasoned, generously portioned, and served hot and fresh. At just 15.00 per person, the value is hard to beat. Whether you’re a regular or just passing through, Irene’s is well worth a visit for breakfast or lunch. Highly recommended! ”
“ Small diner with freshly made breakfast and lunch. Prices are a little on the high side. However, the food is very good. They make their own corned-beef hash. They also have chipped beef on toast. ”
“ What a cozy little diner. Each day they have a daily special menu with about 3-4 items on it. The amount of fries you get with burgers and sandwiches is astronomically large! I ask for a half order, and it's still huge! The servers are always very friendly and attentive as well. They are closed every Tuesday though! ”
“ First time visiting, had pancakes and bacon. The pancakes were huge and tasty. The thick slices of bacon hit the spot. I will be back for more ”
